recovery, &c.

Not sure we've recovered enough yet to even post a meaningful summary of what happened over the past few days. I think I'll just give the stats and the latest update. Clary Patricia Grace Dunaway was born at 14:12 on Friday afternoon, May 5, weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and measuring 20 inches long. We came home from the hospital on Sunday (May 7), and have been trying to begin to establish a home rhythm since then. Gates' mother Susan has been staying with us and has been an amazing help, as has her sister Grier. Clary is beginning to get over her jaundice as she feeds more and more enthusiastically (and also does the, um, accompanying actions more and more profusely). All is well -- more to come!
